Following Alex Ferguson’s recent retirement another United legend in David Beckham called it day on Thursday.

As a Man Utd and England fan I and many others owe him a debt of gratitude; a fantastically skilled player whose technical ability was underrated by many, he always gave his all on the pitch, playing a key role in some of the biggest moments in recent football history for both club and country.

Achieving so much and yet remaining down to earth, he has been and will continue to be an inspiration to many; congratulations on great career Becks!
