My boss Shelley bought me a fantastic present for Christmas, the Hubsan X4 H107D FPV Quadcopter!

I’ve had a little play around with and it’s absolutely brilliant if a little tricky to get the hang of initially. The picture quality is excellent and once you get the hang of it, flying it in normal mode is pretty easy, but in expert mode it is incredibly difficult to control and it’s going to take a lot practice to become proficient at, as is flying by FPV.

It didn’t take long for me to find that it’s best to use the blade guard whilst learning to fly as I’ve damaged a lot of blades already; I’ve bought some spares and also invested in some 500mAh batteries (improving on the 380mAh one provided) along with a 5 way charger to give me more flying time.
